The Department of French and Italian celebrated the graduating class of 2024 with a Senior Reception on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2023 in the VCL Satellite.
2024 Prizes
The Gardner Prize recipients were Chloe Hord and Cullen Allen.
The Book Prize (sponsored by the government of Quebec/French Embassy in the US) recipients were Sam Curtis, Elliott de Boer, Warren Levy, Charlotte Mauger, Quinn Muscatel, Sofia Prieto, and Daniel Putnam.
The WACHS Prize recipients for Creative Works in Italian were Drugan Brady and Anna Harris.
The WACHS Prize recipients for Essays in Italian were Rubric Barredo and Greta LaFrentz.
The WACHS Prize recipients for Essays in French were Cheng Lu, Meaghan M Kilner, and Victoria Paige Travassos.
The recipient of the Lancaster Prize for Excellence in Italian was Mia Cecala.
