Ph.D. candidate Matthew Knowles wins fellowship from Boston College
Ph.D. candidate Matthew Knowles is one of three winners of a $28,000 dissertation fellowship from Boston College’s Center for Retirement Research. In his project, entitled “Social Security Eligibility and Health Care Utilization: Evidence from Administrative Data,” Knowles uses hospital visit data study to study how becoming eligible for social security at the early eligibility age (62) affects people’s health care utilization patterns.
