Cesar Urquizo Ubillus
Assistant Professor of Economics
César Urquizo is a quantitative macroeconomist specializing in labor economics and inequality. He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from University of Pennsylvania in 2025. His current research focuses on the drivers of the joint decision of how many hours to work and which occupation to pick, and its effect on earnings inequality, as well as understanding the joint distribution of wealth, wages and employment.
