William Collins elected a Distinguished Fellow of the Economic History Association
Oct. 5, 2026—Bill Collins, Terence E. Adderley Jr. Chair and Professor of Economics, has been elected a Distinguished Fellow of the Economic History Association. This election honors individuals who have published contributions to economic history that are markedly original and have significantly advanced the frontiers of knowledge.
Tong Li elected fellow of the Econometric Society
Oct. 1, 2026—Professor Tong Li, Gertrude Conaway Vanderbilt Chair and Professor of Economics, has been elected a Fellow of the Econometric Society. Election as a Fellow of the Econometric Society is a prestigious recognition of outstanding scholarly contributions to economics. Fellows are elected by the Society’s existing active Fellows. Yuya Sasaki to deliver a keynote address at the 2026 Texas Camp Econometrics
Feb. 3, 2026—Yuya Sasaki, Brian and Charlotte Grove Chair and Professor of Economics, will deliver a keynote address at the 2026 Texas Camp Econometrics, to be held in Las Colinas, Texas, on February 21–22, 2026. The conference is sponsored by Southern Methodist University and Stata. He will present a paper entitled “Genuinely Robust Inference for Clustered Data.”
