Martha Bailey, Ph.D. ’05, wins Caroline Shaw Bell Award
Martha Bailey, Economics Ph.D. ’05, was recently announced as the 2022 winner of the prestigious Caroline Shaw Bell Award by the American Economic Association’s Committee on the Status of Women in the Economics Profession (CSWEP). This award recognizes “an individual who has furthered the status of women in the economics profession, through example, achievements, increasing our understanding of how women can advance in the economics profession, or mentoring others.” Bailey is now Professor of Economics at UCLA, and we continue to be very proud of all her accomplishments.
