Kitt Carpenter named Distinguished University Professor
Kitt Carpenter has been appointed as Distinguished University Professor by Vanderbilt University. This designation represents the highest level of recognition that the University can bestow upon a faculty member and is an enormously important achievement for the individual and for the departments involved. Professor Carpenter’s Distinguished University Professor appointment is in the College of Arts and Science (Economics and Public Policy) as well as in VUMC (Health Policy). We are particularly proud of the fact that Professor Carpenter’s original and primary home remains in the Department of Economics, where his contributions are so invaluable.
