Professor Tong Li to present at the Vanderbilt International Researchers Alliance Symposium
Professor of Economics and Gertrude Conaway Vanderbilt Chair in Social and Natural Sciences Tong Li will join professor Krish Roy, the Bruce and Bridgitt Evans dean of engineering and a University Distinguished Professor in Biomedical Engineering, as a plenary speaker at this year’s Vanderbilt International Researchers Alliance (VIRAL) symposium on April 18th. This will be VIRALs second symposium, an event aimed at showcasing the research and stories of Vanderbilt’s international community.
VIRAL is an organization of international and domestic graduate students, postdocs, and faculty members with the goal of supporting international researchers through community, support, and a space to discuss the unique needs of the international community at Vanderbilt.
The symposium will be held at the Community Event Space on April 18th, from 9:00am to 5:00pm and will include plenary talks, a career panel, happy hour, and more.
