Kitt Carpenter elected to the National Academy of Medicine
Christopher (Kitt) Carpenter has been elected to the National Academy of Medicine. Recognized recently by Vanderbilt media, this is a singular honor. Kitt was elected by his peers “for his outstanding research on public policies intended to curb risky behaviors and his seminal work evaluating the clinical and economic effects of LGBTQ-related public policies, including same-sex marriage.” Kitt is the director of Vanderbilt’s LGBTQ+ Policy Center and E. Bronson Ingram University Distinguished Professor of Economics and Health Policy. Congratulations, Kitt!
