Saayili Budhiraja

Ph.D. Student

Saayili graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2025 with a BA in Mathematics and Economics and a minor in data science. She has conducted economic research on topics ranging from crime to K-12 education, and her honors thesis focused on the academic and mental health impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on English learner students in California. She hopes to continue exploring her interests in applied microeconomics and econometrics through Vanderbilt’s PhD program.
