Matthew Zaragoza-Watkins

Assistant Professor of Economics

Professor Zaragoza-Watkins studies the intersection of industrial organization, energy and the environment. His research explores the design and performance of economy-wide and sector-specific environmental policies. Applying econometric techniques from labor economics to test theory from industrial organization and consumer behavior, his work provides new evidence on the nature of firms’ and households’ responses to regulation, often shedding light on the unanticipated consequences of existing policy.
