Gerard Domenech Arumi
Visiting Assistant Professor
Gerard Domènech-Arumí is a visiting assistant professor of economics at Vanderbilt University. He earned a Ph.D. in economics from Boston University in 2021 and held a postdoctoral position at ECARES (Université Libre de Bruxelles) before joining Vanderbilt. His work lies at the intersection of labor, public and urban economics. His primary research agenda investigates how where one lives shapes who they are. It touches on topics related to the economics of crime, inequality, and social preferences. He is also interested in housing inequality and the evaluation of public policies.
