Dong Wei

Assistant Professor of Economics

Dong Wei is an assistant professor of economics at Vanderbilt University. He is a microeconomic theorist whose research focuses on information economics and dynamic games. His work has been published in leading economics journals, including the American Economic Review, AER: Insights, and AEJ: Microeconomics. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from UC Berkeley in 2020, an M.Phil. in Economics from NYU Stern in 2016, and a B.Econ. from Tsinghua University in 2014. Prior to joining Vanderbilt, he was an assistant professor at UC Santa Cruz from 2021 to 2026.
