Atsushi Inoue

Cornelius Vanderbilt Chair and Professor of Economics

Professor Inoue has a keen interest in impulse responses, which are a vital tool for analyzing dynamic causal effects in empirical macroeconomics. He has also explored a variety of topics in macroeconometrics, such as bootstrap methods, forecasting, instrumental variables, panel data analysis, and structural change. Currently, he is focusing on the econometric aspects of macroeconomic models, particularly structural vector autoregressive models, local projections, and heterogeneous-agent New Keynesian models. Additionally, he is a former co-editor of the Journal of Business and Economic Statistics (JBES). The list of his paper can be found at his Google Scholar and IDEAS/RePEc profiles.
