Professor Packham completed her B.S. in Economics and Ph.D. in Economics from Texas A&M University. She is an applied microeconomist with interests in health and education policy. Her research focuses primarily on the effects of contraception and family planning program access on teen childbearing and the effects of nutritional assistance receipt on crime and academic achievement.
