Kirk Dornbush Summer Research Grant Bears Fruit for Brandyn Churchill
Brandyn Churchill, Ph.D. candidate in Economics, recently had an article accepted for publication. “The Effect of E-Verify Laws on Crime” was accepted at Industrial and Labor Relations Review, and is joint with Andrew Dickinson (University of Oregon), Taylor Mackay (U.C. Irvine), and Joseph J. Sabia (San Diego State University). The work on this paper was funded by the Kirk Dornbush Summer Research Grant, which was awarded to Brandyn by the department the summer after his first year in the Ph.D. program. Once he graduates in August, Brandyn heads off to Canada as an assistant professor of Economics at Carleton University.
