Educator Book Club
Founded in November 2019, the CLACX Educator Book Club gathers monthly throughout the year to critically consider the depiction of Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx cultures in children’s literature, and to discuss strategies for incorporating diverse books in the K-12 classroom.
Club members represent a variety of subject areas including English, Spanish, Math, English Language Learning, Counseling, and elementary education, and teach in K-12 schools local to Nashville and its surrounding counties.
