International Lens

International Lens (iLens), a film series with a global perspective, provides a forum to promote conversation among Vanderbilt’s diverse students, faculty, staff, and the greater Nashville community. The series endeavors to transcend geographic, linguistic, ethnic, religious, and political boundaries by encouraging conversation and greater cross-cultural understanding through cinema.

iLens screenings are free and held in Vanderbilt’s Sarratt Cinema. They often begin with an introduction by Vanderbilt faculty and end with an open discussion or Q&A about the film. For Cinema & Media Arts students, iLens is an ideal opportunity to experience the intersection of film theory and film production that is the hallmark of our program.

Visit the iLens website for more information about the series.
