Artist’s Statement:
I like to play. Play with color, explore new materials, and express myself. I have practiced a number of creative processes including mosaics, oil painting, Nihonga, and cyanotypes. After a fulfilling career as a high-end wallcovering designer, my style is decorative, inspired by my surroundings and personal journey. My Cyanotypes en Couleur uses the original sun-printing process and combines cyanotypes with multicolored monoprints to illustrate the subtleties of foliage and objects I gather in my travels and to create a look full of light, color, and optimism.
