Latin American Ethnobotanical Garden Tour with Volunteer Gardener (8 min 8 sec)
The ethnobotanical garden at Vanderbilt University is filled with sages, agaves, exotic plants, and annuals. The species housed in the garden reflect the Center for Latin American Studies’ particular strengths in Mexico, Brazil, Central America and Black Atlantic. The garden provides an interdisciplinary, hands-on teaching tool for university students, as well as local K-12 educators and their students.
