Matthew Tarizzo

Matthew Tarizzo (he/him/his) is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the Sociology Department. He graduated from Butler University, where he earned his B.A. in Sociology, Economics, and Spanish. His research focuses on migrant incorporation and mobility across various contexts within the United States, with an emphasis on educational attainment, physical and mental health outcomes, and occupational placement. His master’s thesis centered on second generation Hispanic youth’s high school completion across different contexts.
