Come and join a concert of the Vanderbilt New Music Society (VNMS), a student-led group dedicated to creating contemporary music and bridging different academic and creative fields at Vanderbilt. In this performance members of VNMS will use some of the work featured in Seeds from Svalbard as a score to fill Buttrick Hall with unexpected and wondrous sounds. The concert will be followed by a reception. This event is presented by the Jean and Alexander Heard Libraries and the Wild Bunch Lecture Fund, established by members of the Class of 1977 in honor of the late Chancellor Alexander Heard and his wife, Jean.
