We want to hear from you! The A&S Communications Team works closely with Vanderbilt's Marketing and Communication Team to tell your stories in the most effective way. We encourage you to let us know what news, awards, research, and stories are happening in your unit. You can send us an email, or complete our submission form for faculty news items. While we won't be able to cover every story, we do our best to showcase a wide range of what's happening across the college. So please let us know what's going on in your unit!

Slow traffic, fast food: The effects of highway congestion on fast-food consumption

Bencsik researched the effect of traffic congestion on food choice in Los Angeles County. With her collaborators, she analyzed smartphone GPS data to track foot traffic to fast-food restaurants and grocery stores during periods of heavy traffic congestion.
