Graduate

As a graduate student in the College of Arts and Science, you will be a vital member of an extraordinary group of scholars. While you pursue the studies and research that prepare you to lead your fields, you’ll receive full support from the College, together with the Graduate School to successfully balance your academic life with home, family, friends and extracurriculars.

You’ll have access to invaluable assets like university fellowships, health and wellness centers, family support and the volunteer program Hands on Nashville. Your voice will be heard through channels like the Graduate Development Network, which solicits student concerns and facilitates career development, and the Graduate Student Council, a representative body that coordinates academic and social activities for students. You’ll be surrounded, too, by initiatives to increase diversity, opportunities to engage in enriching summer research and extensive resources for career development.
