Chancey Herbolsheimer

Chancey is a fifth-year Ph.D. student of Sociology at Vanderbilt University where they specialize in medical lociology and policy.  Chancey is interested in the ways in which law shapes heath equity.  They are espcially interested in reproductive health and the impact of pregancy criminalization on reproductive decision-making and outcomes.  Their current dissertation work focuses on patient-provider interations in a substance use treatment program for pregnant people.
