Vanderbilt sociology professor Lucie Kalousova has been elected Secretary/Treasurer of the Sociology of Mental Health section of the American Sociological Association. An award-winning sociologist, Professor Kalousova studies the links between the distribution of socioeconomic resources and the health of populations and the origins and persistence of population health disparities in middle- to high-income countries.
