A 2-part special issue of Work and Occupations on “Precarious Employment and Well-Being During the COVID-19 Pandemic”—co-guest edited by Quan Mai (Vanderbilt sociology PhD, 2018), Rutgers University and Vanderbilt sociology Professors Lijun Song and Rachel Donnelly—has been published in the February and May 2023 issues. Part I addresses “Market Conditions, Employment Quality, and
Workplace Politics” (click here for table of contents); Part II concerns “The Experience and Perception of Employment Precarity” (click here for table of contents). The two-part special issue grew out of an international conference sponsored by Work and Occupations and Vanderbilt and Rutgers Universities.
