Vanderbilt sociology doctoral student Whitney Frierson is a co-recipient of a Lacy Fischer Interdisciplinary Research Grant from Vanderbilt University. Whitney and Biomedical Engineering doctoral student Jonathan Martin (PI) were awarded the grant for their research project, “Investigating Development of New Graduate STEM Education Programs,” which addresses student engagement, didactic strategies, and curricular adjustment in the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine’s new Master of Imaging Science program. Whitney serves as a qualitative research methods project consultant on research design, coding and data analysis. Congratulations, Whitney!
