the actual session per email to Lutz
Koepnick. They will be posted on the course web page at least
24 hours before individual sessions. Your task is to discuss the articulation (or questioning) of beauty in one specific work of art--a poem, a novel, a painting, a drama, a film, an opera, a symphony, a performance, etc. Your discussion should link up to the particular text and aesthetic theory discussed on that day. I have suggested a few items for certain weeks already, but encourage you to add your own choices for other weeks. Please discuss your choice well in advance with me. Your paper should be no longer than 1,000 words.
