Graduate Leadership Institute

The mission of the Graduate Leadership Institute at Vanderbilt University is to provide you with the tools to thrive in leadership roles at all levels and the ability to recognize and develop leadership skills in yourself and others. The GLI meets its mission by facilitating opportunities for your professional and academic development for interdisciplinary collaboration with other graduate students.

Graduate Life Coach

The Graduate Life Coach assists Graduate School students and postdoctoral scholars in their academic and professional development during their time at Vanderbilt. Services include individual coaching and group programming around effective time and stress management, resilience, conflict resolution, navigating academic relationships, and juggling work/life responsibilities.

Career Development

The Graduate School is in the process of collaborating with the Career Center to create a new model for serving graduate students' critical career advising and development needs. The new model will be developed based on input from graduate students and structured using survey data collected from key stakeholders, including students and faculty.
