Nina Warnke
Assistant Dean of the Martha Rivers Ingram Commons
Warnke is Assistant Dean of The Martha Rivers Ingram Commons, Vanderbilt University's living and learning community for first-year undergraduates. She is responsible for THe Commons' academic initiatives such as Vanderbilt Visions (an extended Orientation program for all first-year students facilitated by teams of faculty and undergraduate peer mentors) and Commons Seminars (1-credit experimental seminars for first-year students).
Nina Warnke came to Vanderbilt from the University of Texas at Austin. She is currently completing a book titled From Scorn to Nostalgia: Early American Yiddish Theater and the Cultural Politics of the Jewish Immigrant Press.
