Max McDonough’s debut poetry collection, Python with a Dog Inside It, won the St. Lawrence Book Award from Black Lawrence Press. His poetry and prose have been published in the New York Times, POETRY, AGNI, Ecotone, T Magazine, Northwest Review, Best New Poets, and Adroit Journal, among others. He earned his MFA from Vanderbilt University and his BA from the University of Virginia.

Kiyoko Reidy is a writer and educator from East Tennessee. Her debut poetry collection Black Holes and Their Feeding Habits was released with Terrapin Books in 2025. She received a MFA from Vanderbilt University and a BS from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She has served as Editor in Chief for the Nashville Review and Poetry Editor for the Madison Review.
