Major Jackson – Civitella Ranieri Fellowship Recipient
Gertrude Conaway Vanderbilt Professor Major Jackson is a recipient of a Civitella Ranieri Fellowship. The Civitella Ranieri Foundation, a prominent artist and writer residency program located in a 15th-century castle in Umbria, Italy, recently announced its 2023-2025 Creative Writing Fellows. Civitella Ranieri Fellowships are awarded through a careful nomination and jury process by a rotating group of distinguished artists, academics, and critics that ensures access to a highly diverse group of emerging and accomplished candidates from around the world.
