Congratulations to Allison Schachter, Vanderbilt University Associate Professor of Jewish Studies and English, who has been awarded the Fenia and Yaakov Leviant Memorial Prize in Yiddish Studies. She has been awarded for her translation From the Jewish Provinces: Selected Stories by Fradl Shtok, published by Northwestern University Press.
