AnnMarie Patterson
Lecturer of Classical and Mediterranean Studies
AnnMarie Patterson is a Lecturer in the Classics and Mediterranean Studies Department. She has taught for USC, as well as for various schools' study abroad programs through the Paideia Institute in Italy. Her research is centered on human interaction with architecture from imperial Rome and representations of architecture in Latin literature, which is the focus of her upcoming project, "Omnia Miranda, Architectural Viewing in the Silver Age" She is also interested in theories of second language acquisition and classical language teaching. Her pedagogical work focused on Greek and Latin acquisition for students with learning disabilities has appeared in various journals and magazines.
