Adviser Hold Release

Each semester you will have an Adviser Approval Hold prior to registration opening for the next semester. You will need to meet with your academic adviser and discuss your academic plans for the following semester in order to have your Adviser Approval Hold lifted. You cannot register for classes when your registration window opens if your Adviser Hold is active.

You may have other holds in addition to the Adviser Approval Hold on your account. You can determine the kinds of holds on your record by checking the Holds section in YES. You can check the same section to find out how to have the hold(s) lifted and whom to contact with questions.

The Adviser Approval Hold is the only hold your CASPAR adviser can release.
