Roya Talibova

Assistant Professor

Roya Talibova is an Assistant Professor of Political Science and a Faculty Affiliate at the Data Science Institute at Vanderbilt University. She studies various topics related to political violence and the political economy of conflict and development, mainly in the broader Eurasian region. In her research, she synthesizes data science, history, and developmental economics with political science to better understand the drivers and outcomes of violence. Prior to joining the faculty at Vanderbilt, she was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Pennsylvania's DevLab@Penn.
