Georgiy Syunyaev

I hold a Ph.D. degree in Political Science from Columbia University and a post-graduate degree in Economics from the HSE University (Russia). Prior to joining Vanderbilt, I was a post-doctoral fellow at the Institutions and Political Inequality Unit at Berlin Social Science Center (Germany), a research fellow at the J-PAL Global and the International Center for Studies for the Study of Institutions and Development at HSE University, as well as a visiting scholar at the Harriman Institute for Russian, Eurasian, and East European Studies, and the World Bank's Development Group.
