Professor Gilbert Gonzales awarded the 2023 Chancellor’s Cup
Medicine, Health, and Society professor Gilber Gonzales was awarded the 2023 Chancellor’s Cup for his contribution to undergraduate relationships between students and faculty outside of the classroom. Gonzales’s research considers the ways public policy impacts members of the LGBTQ+ community, as well as examining the impacts of health care reforms on vulnerable populations. Professor Gonzales has shown time and time again that he will go above and beyond creating meaningful relationships and a sense of community with his students, and that commitment is reflected in this award.
