Prospective Students

Prior to the February 1 application deadline, the MHS M.A. program offers multiple opportunities for prospective students to meet with faculty, staff, and current students to learn about the program.

We invite you to register for one of the following virtual information sessions for more information and ask questions about how our program can help you meet your educational and career goals.

Upcoming MHS MA Program Information Sessions

All prospective students, including Vanderbilt undergraduate students planning to enroll in Fall 2024, are welcome to join us for the following info sessions. Select the link to register for the events you’d like to attend.

Admitted Students

In the spring, we host multiple events, both on-campus, in-person, and virtual for students admitted to the program. Events include campus tours, alumni talks, meetings with current students, and much more.

 

Admitted students get the opportunity to meet other admitted students and learn more about the program through our Virtual Meet-and-Greets. You are welcome to attend both sessions if available. 

Register for the meet-and-greets:

Admitted Student Day – March 19, 2024

Students who have been admitted to the program will be invited to visit campus for a full day of programming including meeting current students and alumni, faculty and program administration. Students will also have the opportunity to tour campus and learn more about the opportunities available to them at Vanderbilt University and the Department of Medicine, Health, and Society.

If you are unable to visit on March 19 but would like to schedule an individual visit, please contact us at mhs-ma@vanderbilt.edu and we can arrange a meeting.

MA Student Speed Presentations

 In the style of 3-minute thesis, each student in this year’s cohort will present their capstone projects. Join us virtually to watch!
