Undergraduate

Vanderbilt’s undergraduate program in Jewish Studies enrolls hundreds of students in a wide variety of courses each semester. Students interested in including Jewish Studies in their areas of concentration can major or minor in the field. Majors have the option to pursue an honors track. Most Jewish Studies majors enroll in the program as dual majors.

Limited need-based scholarship funding is available to majors. All students enrolled in Jewish Studies courses are eligible for program-based awards for excellence in undergraduate scholarship.

Students interested in study abroad will find Jewish Studies options in Israel, Europe and around the globe!

If you’re ready to declare your major or minor, talk about course offerings, or learn more about the program, please contact our Director of Undergraduate Studies Rebecca Epstein-Levi.
