Sophia Chen

Sophia Chen is a first year Ph.D. student. She is interested in the History of Medicine in Southeast Asia. She particularly focuses on midwifery, Malay medicine and maternity hospitals in Singapore and Malaya under the British colonial rule in 19th -20th Century. Her advisor is Ruth Rogaski.
