Jared Harvey

Lecturer

Jared Harvey holds the MFA from the Iowa Writers Workshop and the PhD in literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz. His most recent writing (published under Jared Joseph ¯_(ツ)_/¯) can be found in the Los Angeles Review of Books, Gulf Coast, and Georgia Review. Jared is the author of six multi-genre books, including the novels Soft Lighting (Bench Editions, 2025) and Danny the Ambulance (Outpost19, 2023). A number of chapbooks devoted to his embarrassing habit of eating and reviewing reuben sandwiches are available from Essay Press. The School of How Can I Live, a short story collection, is forthcoming in 2027. Jared lives in Nashville.
