EES PhD Student Mahir Tajwar, Recipient of the Gould Research Grant Award!
Congratulations to one of our graduate students, Mahir Tajwar, for receiving the GSA Research Grant and being named as the Gould Research Grant Recipient!
Mahir has been invited to attend the Penrose Circle & Student Awards Reception at GSA Connects 2024 in Anaheim, California to be recognized as the recipient of the Gould Research Grant. Mahir’s research addresses the biogeochemical dynamics of stream water and the effects of artificial light at night (ALAN) on freshwater ecosystems. This study is conducted under the guidance of Dr. John C. Ayers, along with committee members Dr. Steven L. Goodbred, Jr. and Dr. Lin Meng.
