Husile Bai

Husile Bai is formerly a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Utah, where she continued to explore her extensive research interests, including atmospheric dynamics, climate dynamics and variability, and cryosphere-atmosphere interactions. Husile earned her Ph.D. from the Department of Atmospheric Sciences, the University of Utah in 2022, under the mentorship of Dr. Courtenay Strong, where she delve deep into the atmospheric teleconnections that driving continental-scale bird irruptions and forest seed masting. Dedicated to education, Husile has taught courses at the University of Utah and Salt Lake Community College and mentored numerous students. She actively contributes to diversity and inclusion initiatives and serves as the Postdoc Success Chair in the Utah Postdoctoral Association. Fluent in Mongolian, English, and Mandarin Chinese, Husile is committed to advancing climate science and fostering academic growth.
