Two MHS students receive Mitacs Globalink Research Award
Elisa Park and Nitya Kari, two of our awesome LGBTQ+ Policy Lab undergraduate RAs, who have each been awarded the competitive Mitacs Globalink Research Award! This award will fund Elisa and Nitya to spend the summer at Simon Fraser University with Dr. Travis Salway’s team! Elisa and Nitya will be working with Dr. Salway’s newly collected Canadian/US survey data to explore socio-demographic and regional differences in exposure to SOGI conversion practices and health outcomes among LGBTQ+ young people exposed to SOGI conversion practices.
Congratulations Elisa and Nitya!
