Matthew Growhoski

Research Assistant Professor of History

Matthew Growhoski works on the political and religious history of early modern England in a pan-European context, with a special interest in the book as both object and text. His dissertation follows the travels of poet/diplomat John Barclay through the kingdoms and religions of seventeenth-century Europe. Other interests include English Arminianism; the early life of John Milton; and the papal nunciature of Flanders.
