Kangzhi Chen

Kangzhi Chen is a doctoral student in American history. His main research interests include American political, presidential and diplomatic history after 1865, and 20th Century US transnational history. His dissertation research examines Cold War U.S. public diplomacy. He primarily works with Professor Thomas Schwartz and Professor Paul Kramer, and also studies with Professor Ruth Rogaski. Kangzhi was a selected participant in the 2016 Summer Institute on Conducting Archival Research hosted by the Wilson Center and George Washington University. He was awarded the Herbert and Blanche Henry Weaver Summer Fellowship by the History Department in 2016.
