Jesse McCarthy

Lecturer in History

Dr. Jesse McCarthy received his B.A. in History from the University of California Santa Barbara, his M.A. and Ph.D. in History from Vanderbilt University. His work focuses on the post-Reformation print culture and the politics of religious identity.  He is especially interested in Elizabethan and early Stuart polemical discourse role in building political and religious ideology.
