Grace Richards

Grace Richards is a third year PhD student studying modern German history. Her dissertation project examines farmhouse museums and the meaning of agrarian heritage in Germany across the 20th century. Grace is studying with Professor Helmut Walser Smith.

Before coming to Vanderbilt, she earned an MA at the University of Chicago and a BA at Kenyon College. She has also worked in multiple museums, including the Chicago History Museum and historic homes managed by the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust.
