Brad Fansher

Brad Fansher is a second-year graduate student interested in the history of early modern Germany. His master’s thesis analyzed the autobiography of the sixteenth-century mercenary and nobleman Götz von Berlichingen through a close reading, a social network analysis, and a spatial analysis. He plans to further explore the relationship between the nobility, state building, social networks and spatial practices across the long sixteenth century. His advisor is Dr. Joel Harrington.
